promos

3 more days to promos.. very very very stress now... lately due to the chem n maths CAs i've been totally neglecting my humanities subjects.. geog n econs.. both content paper really sux la.. so much things to study.. especially geog.. got plate techtonics, weathering, hydro, rivers, mass movement, population.. so many la.. im starting to gain confidence in econs now.. at least i can explain negative externalities withouy refering to the notes le (thx to dea).. cheers for that :):)

this past week was the best n the worse for me.. worse is because i starting to lose my smile.. besides trying to look cheerful in front of the choir guys, my days were filled with frustration n smiling became a difficult thing for me to do.. i want my smile back :D:D.. well at least on the bright side, some ppl are finally starting to take the promos seriously.. but will there be enough time?? i dunno.. depends on how hard they study i guess.. but seeing them study makes me happy... i want everyone in CTG125 to promote.. that wish is coming closer but i can predict it still wont come true.. some ppl's attitude n mentality really sux... skipping sch on days where there's impt tutorials..

on friday when mr chng flashed the overall DW+CA marks, i was both happy n disappointed.. my target for promos was to get a B.. 65++ seems difficult but i will try.. most impt thing is that i try not to let mr chng down by jus passing.. haha.. at least a C la.. 56only.. not so difficult (self comforting).. the disappointment was that
most ppl require ard 60 to jus PASS chem.. some are expected but that's really too high la..

but who cares.. im bothered by unnecessary stuff.. if ppl wan to retain jus let them be.. jus pls dun disrupt the class can.. stop disregarding mr goh like he does not exists during tutorial n CT when u put on ur headphones.. i hate it when ppl does it.. pretend to focus during lessons even if u r not interested.. this sux

lastly i hope everyone in my clique promotes.. regardless of PA or promote totally.. i jus wan to see u'll in j2 next yr.. im working hard to see that happen.. if u cant do well in certain parts of the subject, focus on the other parts to pull up ur lousy parts..

tips on effective learning by marcus (so far it works for me):
1) for effective revision, try studying after midnight. for some reason absorbsion of info works well during these hours (do this only if u r a nocturn like me)
2) consult the better students for help in certain questions. if there's no one, ask the teacher for help (i only have 1 consultant)
3) dont study all the time. take a break for like 5-10min every hour (i haven really tried this yet. this is by my gp tutor)

well that's all folks.. marcus is beat for the day.. its 2am in the morning now.. tired tired tired.. this post shall be my last till the promos r over.. JIAYOU AND WORK HARD FOR PROMOS!!!!! (ps. cat high ppl in my batch cannot retain. rmb that! by uzzy)
